Urgent conditions are those morbidities that must be reported within 24 hours after a case or suspect case is diagnosed, treated, or detected or an occurrence is detected, as defined here and in A.A.C. R9-6-202.

Healthcare facilities may submit reports for other conditions via MEDSIS once the system is available.
